The attentive listeners will be truly enlightened.\u201d M.B. 2018<\/em><br>Limited to 200 copies only.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHITE LANDSCAPE ON VER SACRUM<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Il nome di Maurizio Bianchi non \u00e8 certo sconosciuto a chi segue la musica post industriale e sperimentale italiana. Forse meno noto e pi\u00f9 di nicchia \u00e8 quello di Cristiano Deison, un musicista in ogni caso integro e di tutto rispetto. I 2 artisti hanno collaborato in passato (nel 2015) nel disco&nbsp;<em>Black Panorama<\/em>. Ora hanno unito nuovamente le forze in un altro interessante lavoro intitolato&nbsp;<em>White Landscape<\/em>. Il titolo del nuovo disco \u00e8 indicativo delle atmosfere che ascolteremo che, a differenza del suo predecessore, sono rivolte alla ricerca di paesaggi luminosi. \u00c8 come se M.B. e Deison, dopo aver esplorato le tenebre in \u201cBlack Panorama\u201d, abbiano sentito un\u2019irresistibile esigenza di abbracciare la luce. I risultati sono sorprendenti: non ricordo di aver mai ascoltato M.B. alle prese con ambientazioni cos\u00ec pacate e solari. In pratica&nbsp;<em>White Landscape<\/em>&nbsp;\u00e8 un disco di musica ambient che credo piacer\u00e0 agli amanti del Brian Eno di \u201cOn land\u201d. Fin dalla traccia iniziale \u201cIntense Brightness\u201d veniamo avvolti da spirali cristalline che ci conducono in territori quieti e irreali. Se vi piace il Vidna Obmana di \u201cThe Trilogy\u201d potete farvi un\u2019idea della qualit\u00e0 evanescente di questa musica. Il viaggio dalla tenebra alla luce non \u00e8 per\u00f2 privo di risvolti oscuri come possiamo ascoltare nella successiva traccia \u201cDense Glow\u201d che evoca scenari piu\u2019 cupi e ombrosi. Con \u201cAscension To Radiosity\u201d il \u201cmood\u201d ritorna pi\u00f9 sereno anche se si avverte, sullo sfondo, la presenza di un male dell\u2019anima oppressivo. La traccia finale \u201cDeep Lightning\u201d \u00e8 un\u2019immersione all\u2019interno di una luce infinita e abbagliante che porta al\u2019estasi. Ottimo disco questo \u201cWhite Landscape\u201d, ideale complemento di \u201cBlack Panorama\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.versacrum.com\/vs\/2021\/01\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-white-landscape.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.versacrum.com\/vs\/2021\/01\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-white-landscape.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LINK<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHITE LANDSCAPE SU ONDAROCK<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">La ricerca di un luminoso oblio che porta verso i luminescenti scenari di \u201cWhite Landscape\u201d, nuova collaborazione di&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/recensioni\/2019-deisonkknull-yugen.htm\">Cristiano Deison<\/a>&nbsp;e&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/recensioni\/2010_mauriziobianchi.htm\">Maurizio Bianchi<\/a>. Trionfo della purezza abbagliante in una lenta deriva tra lande sonore desolate, l\u2019album in uscita per Final Muzik vede i due musicisti italiani alle prese con quattro composizioni che vanno da \u201cIntense Brightness\u201d a \u201cDeep Lighting\u201d, passando per un \u201cDense Glow\u201d e un \u201cAscension To Radiosity\u201d. Siamo di fronte ad un disco ambient che guarda alle sperimentazioni di artisti come&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/interviste\/thomaskoner.htm\">Thomas K\u00f6ner<\/a>&nbsp;(\u201cPermafrost\u201d), Lull e l\u2019utimo&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/recensioni\/2018-raisondetre-alchymeia.htm\">Raison d&#8217;\u00eatre<\/a>, quello pi\u00f9 meditativo e introspettivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Messe da parte (da tempo ormai) le crudeli asprezze sonore di matrice industrial del primo Maurizio Bianchi, l\u2019arte di uno dei pionieri della scena italiana ben si sposa con la fine ricerca elettroacustica di Deison, artista friulano che da pi\u00f9 di venticinque anni collabora con artisti del calibro di L.Marhaug, KK Null,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/interviste\/tehoteardo.htm\">T.Teardo<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/recensioni\/2007_thurston.htm\">Thurstone Moore<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/interviste\/simonbalestrazzi.htm\">S. Balestrazzi<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/recensioni\/2011_scannerrothenberg_youcant.htm\">Scanner<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/recensioni\/2017-deisonmingle-tiliaventum.htm\">Mingle<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ondarock.it\/recensioni\/2020-deisonjohnduncan-chimeratorium.htm\">John Duncan<\/a>, ecc.&nbsp;<br>Come dichiarato dallo stesso Deison nelle note che accompagnano la pubblicazione di \u201cWhite Landscape\u201d, Maurizio Bianchi gli aveva inviato un paio di nastri audio del suo archivio contenenti lunghe fasce sonore che lui ha poi manipolato estraendo quattro lunghe sezioni omogenee, poi sottoposte a vari trattamenti elettronici. Il risultato \u00e8 un&nbsp;<em>freezing ambient<\/em>&nbsp;che si sposa con una quieta drone music dal sapore ipnotico, qui condita da quel noise microtonale sempre ben padroneggiato da Deison e Bianchi. Siamo di fronte alla seconda collaborazione tra due mostri sacri nell&#8217;ambito di sonorit\u00e0 elettroniche (post) industrial. La prima era stata \u201cBlack Panorama\u201d, album uscito nel 2015 sempre per Final Muzik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Il lavoro esce oltre che in digitale anche in un elegante Cd digisleeve in edizione limitata che non deluder\u00e0 tutti gli appassionati di sonorit\u00e0 ambient isolazioniste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHITE LANDSCAPE SU SOWHAT<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Un\u2019espansa distesa di diafani vapori in indissolubile sospensione. A cinque anni di distanza dalla prima collaborazione, tornano ad incrociarsi gli itinerari sonori di&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.deison.net\/\">Cristiano Deison<\/a>&nbsp;e Maurizio Bianchi confluendo in uno sterminato oceano di abbagliante, voluttuosa luce, ideale ribaltamento di quel primo condiviso capitolo intriso di atmosfere oscure ed incombenti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Costruito a partire da vecchie registrazioni inviate da Bianchi, sezionate e manipolate da Deison fino ad assumere la forma di quattro lunghi tracciati atmosferici, \u201cWhite Landscape\u201d configura un amniotico ambiente sonico dominato da un senso di algida contemplazione, vivida formalizzazione di un rarefatto paesaggio invernale permeato da morbida brillantezza. Sature volute sintetiche si muovono sinuose disegnando nebbiosi flussi tendenti verso orizzonti di avvolgente quiete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">A tratti, lungo questo etereo percorso, si attraversano frangenti parzialmente umbratili, percorsi da sottile e ruvida polvere che emerge in filigrana senza tuttavia intaccare il tono generale di un viaggio proiettato verso la radiosa profondit\u00e0 di un oblio luminescente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sowhatmusica.wordpress.com\/2021\/01\/29\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-white-landscape\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sowhatmusica.wordpress.com\/2021\/01\/29\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-white-landscape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LINK<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHITE LANDSCAPE ON OBSKURE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Les amateurs de musiques exp\u00e9rimentales, \u00e9lectroniques et industrielles connaissent bien les noms de Maurizio Bianchi (M.B.) et Deison, deux musiciens italiens qui ont travers\u00e9 les d\u00e9cennies sans fl\u00e9chir en termes d&#8217;inspiration. Une premi\u00e8re collaboration avait eu lieu en 2015 avec Black Panorama d\u00e9j\u00e0 publi\u00e9 chez Final Muzik. Dans la lign\u00e9e de ces pi\u00e8ces atmosph\u00e9riques et profondes, le pr\u00e9sent disque a \u00e9t\u00e9 enregistr\u00e9 lors de sessions tenues entre 2015 et 2016. Constitu\u00e9 de quatre pistes sonores d&#8217;un peu plus de dix minutes chacune, White Landscape porte bien son titre tant les ambiances d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es sugg\u00e8rent de vastes horizons de glace, noy\u00e9s dans la brume. On y trouve aussi beaucoup plus de luminosit\u00e9 et de douceur que par le pass\u00e9. Les disques oppressants, claustrophobes et malsains des d\u00e9buts de M.B. sont fort loin. Ici ne demeurent que des sensations d&#8217;immensit\u00e9 et d&#8217;introspection m\u00eal\u00e9s. On y franchit des seuils d&#8217;irr\u00e9alit\u00e9 avec calme et volupt\u00e9, une plong\u00e9e dans un onirisme frigorifique, non d\u00e9nu\u00e9 d&#8217;intensit\u00e9 (le final de &#8220;Dense Glow&#8221;).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Comme dans la meilleure musique ambient, on est vite immerg\u00e9 dans les sons, hypnotiques et g\u00e9r\u00e9s avec d\u00e9licatesse. Les drones enveloppent, frisent l&#8217;extatique, voire l&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9vation totale, notamment sur le bien nomm\u00e9 &#8220;Deep Lightning&#8221; o\u00f9 les sentiments de d\u00e9solation et d&#8217;isolement au milieu de paysages sublimes nous plongent dans une m\u00e9lancolie de plus en plus tenace. On peut alors s&#8217;attarder sur telle ou telle substance sonore, s&#8217;attacher \u00e0 des notes synth\u00e9tiques m\u00e9lodiques, \u00e0 des vrombissements impalpables ou des bruits blancs discrets, se perdre au milieu de ces espaces mentaux et infinis et se demander comment tant de paisible beaut\u00e9 puisse \u00e9merger d&#8217;un seul disque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.obskure.com\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-white-landscape.html\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.obskure.com\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-white-landscape.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LINK<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHITE LANDSCAPE ON DARK ENTRIES<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Men zegt wel eens dat rust roest. Het is zeker niet van toepassing op de 65-jarige godfather der Italiaanse noise en industrial scene Maurizio Bianchi.<br>De man brengt heden ten dage namelijk nog immer met de binnen het genre gekende vlijt plaatjes uit, om u een idee te geven: alleen al in 2020 waren dat er een elftal.<br>Een ander gezegde stelt dat men milder wordt met de jaren. Deze vlieger lijkt wel op te gaan voor Bianchi. We dienen dan ook de term \u2018genre\u2019 uit de voorgaande alinea even te verduidelijken. Het oude Bianchi werk is gefundenes fressen voor die hard industrial fans\/verzamelaars, en geloof ons op ons woord wanneer we zeggen dat de man in zijn beginperiode een paar echte pareltjes binnen het genre gemaakt heeft. Come Organisation (zie ook Whitehouse) bracht ooit platen van Bianchi uit onder de dubieuze naam Leibstandarte SS MB, Come voegde nazi marsen en speeches toe aan de industri\u00eble klanken. Anno 1981 kunnen we stellen dat de snoodaards op die manier de baan vrij maakten voor wat later bon ton zou zijn in het martial industrial genre. We zeggen snoodaards, want Come had deze toevoeging aan Bianchi\u2019s klanken zonder zijn medeweten of toestemming gedaan.<br>Anno nu, en dat is een dikke 40 jaar na zijn eerste muzikale probeersels (die hij aanving onder de naam Sacher-Pelz), zijn deze klanken inderdaad wel milder geworden.<br>Zelf zijn we (en we horen het wel vaker onder kenners van \u2018s mans materiaal) niet altijd even enthousiast als de krasse Italiaan wederom met nieuw werk aan komt draven (het is een oud zeer bij ultra productieve artiesten -een enkele zeldzame uitzondering buiten beschouwing gelaten). White Landscape, de tweede samenwerking tussen Bianchi en Deison beschouwden we echter als een best aangename luisterervaring.<br>Een jaar of vijf geleden sloegen beide heren voor het eerst de handen in elkaar voor het album Black Panaroma. We leiden af uit de titel van dit nieuwe werk dat White Landscape niet alleen een verderzetting van hun samenwerking maar tevens een opvolger van dit eerste gezamenlijke album is. Ook hier zijn de titels veelzeggend: Black Panaroma ging het zoeken in de diepste duisternis; over White Landscape gloeit een overheersende lichtgevende gloed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Cristiano Deison is ondertussen ook reeds een goede vijfentwintig jaar in de weer met experimentele elektronica. Net zoals Bianchi maakte hij zijn eigen tape-collages met bandrecorders, draaitafels en objecten en is voornamelijk actief binnen het gebied van de experimentele noise. Naast Bianchi werkte hij reeds met andere grote namen zoals Lasse Marhaug, KK Null, Teho Teardo, Thurston Moore, Scanner, Shee Retina Stimulants,&#8230; Be\u00efnvloedt door de experimentele muziek, minimale ambient elektronica en een grote interesse in digitale muziek en sounddesign, werkt hij met loops, field recordings en drones om wervelende elektronische geluiden met een enorm bereik en complexe muzikaliteit te ontwikkelen. De ideale sparringpartner voor Bianchi, als u het ons vraagt.<br>Wat zich dan ook uit op White Landscape: samen lijken beide heren ons met hun ijle elektronische klanken te begeleiden richting hemel.Vraag aan de gemiddelde mens welke klanken hij zich voorstelt bij het begrip \u201chemel\u201d en we zijn er vrij zeker van dat de klanken die beide heren op White Landscape presenteren representatief zijn voor de antwoorden die je te horen zal krijgen.<br>Alleen het engelenkoor had precies een vrije dag, voor de rest wanen we ons drie kwartier van wolkje tot wolkje springend in hogere sferen. Wanneer dit begrip voor jou geen religieuze bijklank heeft valt het eveneens vanuit deze context te bekijken en slaat dan vooral op verschijnselen als sterren, planeten en noem maar op. Ook winterbeelden gedijen uitstekend bij deze geluiden, de krakende sneeuw onder je voeten denk je er haast automatisch bij.<br>Om het in wijntermen te zeggen: ambient van een goed jaar, deze White Landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.darkentries.be\/nl\/recensies\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-m-b-white-landscape\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/www.darkentries.be\/nl\/recensies\/deison-maurizio-bianchi-m-b-white-landscape\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LINK<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHITE LANDSCAPE SU ROCKERILLA<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"871\" src=\"https:\/\/www.deison.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Rockerilla-487-marzo-2021-copia.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-959\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.deison.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Rockerilla-487-marzo-2021-copia.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.deison.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Rockerilla-487-marzo-2021-copia-207x300.jpg 207w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">WHITE LANDSCAPE ON SANTA SANGRE<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWhite Landscape\u201d shows a brighter and more delicate side of both musicians, who most of the time are associated with the experimental, often harsh spectrum of sounds. They both are extremely experienced, active since the eighties (Maurizio Bianchi) and nineties (Deison) and this is their second collaboration after \u201cBlack Panorama\u201d from 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They consider it as a search of light after \u201chaving spent an imaginary lobotomized hibernation in the darkest bush\u201d. Indeed, this music sometimes is like a luminescent glow. Soothing and oneiric, reminding me sometimes of \u201cSecluded Truths\u201d also by Maurizio Bianchi accompanied by Nimh (one of my favorite albums ever).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These are four long pieces proving that music is probably the only medium through which you are able to move actively into the realm of no man, no civilization nor nature. It is a shapeless void, an emptiness, but strangely enough without any negative, pitch-black connotations. It is tempting you to enter into it and dissolve. On the other hand, I bet that for more sensitive listeners it may be an effective dream inducer while playing it at night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be honest, this is the music which will easily absorb you (of course if you\u2019re susceptible for this kind of sounds), but difficult to write about. All tracks on \u201cWhite Landscape\u201d are built upon slowly morphing atmospheric drones and they differ only in nuances. Which is good because throughout all 45 minutes you\u2019re in a delightful state of catatonia, not disturbed by a single unexpected moment.
